I love working in the garden and that love has grown to include cooking with fresh herbs, veggies & peppers. Another healthy eating tidbit has been my learning about sprouts and how to grow sprouts. The health benefits of eating organically and growing my own food is a passion which occupies every spare moment. Sprouts, growing supplies, dried herbs and loose teas (all from my garden) will be offered soon.

My seeds are all high quality with high germination rates of 85%-95%. Be aware that seeds that are very cheap usually are low germination, low quality (wil produce weak plants) or old (stored incorrectly). You get what you pay for.

If my seeds are "heirloom" or "organic", that is stated. Heirloom seeds will produce the exact same plant as the mother plant. You can collect seeds & have new plants for free! Organic means that no chemicals or pesticides are used on the plants or anywhere near the garden. For fertilizing, I use an organic fish emulsion, never Miracle Grow!

I also grow scented geraniums in around 10 different scents. I sell them locally as I also do with my overflow from my garden. Selling at local markets can be fun and very rewarding financially.

The "new" economy has introduced lots of people to gardening to put healthy food on their table. This is great news and is wonderful way to get the whole "family" involved in a rewarding adventure.

I will be blogging & writing a newsletter on much of this in the near future. I will be including:

Companion gardening-basic how to
How eating peppers can benefit your health & even increase your metabolism
What's up with sprouts?
Homemade remedies for garden pests (without using chemicals)
Receipes for veggies, herbs and peppers
How to find, save & dry seeds for next year plantings
Cheap(sometimes free) ways to make seed pots, mini greenhouses & other garden neccesities...and much more.

If you would like to receive notice when the these blogs are up & newsletters ready to email, shoot me an email.

I also would love to have pictures of everyone's gardens!
